It was soccer world cup time and South Africa was awash with international celebs....  it was a huge privilege to attend a very small press conference with Alicia Keys.  What a truly inspiring, altogether lovely lady.....  It's a memory that will remain with me always...

Liquideep

I remember being hooked on "fairytale" the first time that I heard it on radio....  What a pleasure then to discover that it was by a local artist....  I met Liquideep for the first time at a function at the Venue at Melrose Arch.  I met them subsequently at the O Awards late last year.  You go guys!

In all, I have photographed six previous Miss South Africa winners. Nicole has been one of my favourites.  Not only is she beautiful but also really "grounded."  I'm watching the rest of her career with keen interest....

Mont Blanc Launch with Jeremy Mansfield & Arno Carstens

I got to photograph the launch of Monte Blanc's "imagine" range to mark the aniversary of John Lennon's death...  It was great to finally get to meet Jeremy Mansfield and spend some time chatting about life in general.  What an inspiring man!  Arno Carstens performed John Lennon's classic hit "Imagine" as well as some of his own work...  Yoko Ono actually requested Arno to perform at the song for her in Hong Kong....
